SDG目標
Using high-quality leather that had become deadstock.
This year, Union’s original notebook—distributed annually as a customer novelty—was produced using deadstock cowhide leather. To highlight the unique character of each piece of leather, the combination of the outer and inner covers is randomized, creating a one-of-a-kind crazy pattern with no two notebooks alike.

The leather used comes exclusively from cattle raised for food, ensuring that the lives taken for human sustenance are respected and utilized fully, without waste.

Each notebook cover is carefully sewn in Japan to ensure high quality and long-term use. Customers can continue using the same cover for years, replacing only the inner pages in subsequent years. As a company engaged in manufacturing, we will continue exploring ways to make the most of limited resources and create products designed to be used for as long as possible.
