Developing the Ability to Identify and Solve Problems

Conducted a three-session program at Tennoji Junior High School in Osaka City under the theme of “Discovering New Perspectives.”

In this program, students explored the question of “How can learning at school be useful in the future?” and worked on the theme “Discovering insights within the school environment” with the aim of identifying what they can do in the present.

As the sessions progressed, students actively exchanged ideas within their groups, and more opportunities emerged for them to express their own thoughts during presentations. In the final presentation, students used well-organized slides to present not only issues found within the school but also the many “discoveries” they gained through the process of identifying challenges, developing solutions, and discussing ideas with their classmates.

We will continue these initiatives to support local children in finding meaning in work and learning, while encouraging them to develop the ability to think independently and take action.
